True Blue Tribe
Men make men

Initiation

For most of history, boys didn't become men by accident. Older men took them out, tested them, told them the truth and welcomed them in. Most of us never got that.

What is initiation?

Initiation is the moment another man looks at you and says: you're one of us now. It's a test, a wound and a blessing, given by men who have been there and want you to make it.

Most modern men were never initiated. We got a driver's license, a diploma, maybe a wedding. Nobody took us aside. So we spend years trying to prove something nobody ever told us we already had.

True Blue Tribe exists to give that back: skills handed from one man to another, stories that tell the truth and a brotherhood that calls you forward.

The second initiation

Here's the part nobody talks about. Some men do the work. They get honest, they get help, they get healed, and they build something good on it. Then life breaks anyway.

The men's world is full of first-act stories: broken, then found, now helping. Almost nobody speaks to the man on the other side of that, the one whose comeback story already happened and who is standing in the rubble again.

If that's you, you aren't starting over and you didn't fail the first time. You're being initiated again, and this time you know what it costs. That man is who Men Make Men is for.

How it happens here

  • Learn from other men. Read the Field Skills and take the True Blue Challenge. Every skill on that list is one a man can teach.
  • Hear the stories. Men Make Men brings you long conversations with men who've been through fire.
  • Know where you are. Becoming a man, the second initiation or elder: start where you are.
  • Stand for something. Read the MANifesto. It's been our rally call since 2012.
